About 120 bigfoot prints were discovered in London, OR, recently causing a big stir in the "bigfoot" hunter community. These prints were quickly cast and studied by a number of enthusiasts and professional scientists.
This is the largest number of large, humanoid footprints found in 40 years. If these were faked, it'd be a difficult undertaking considering the large stride of the apparent prints.
Many of these prints also point to individuals over 8 feet tall if they were indeed created by living creatures.
On top of this news, a photo has turned up showing the muscular hairy back of an ape like creature, presumably a bigfoot. This mysterious photo, seems unbelievable, but if this is indeed a fake, which is most likely, it certainly is excellent costume-work.
Scientists have dug up a new species of caecilian amphibians in northeastern India. They are related to other amphibians such as frogs and salamanders. These worm-like creatures spend their whole life underground so they are hard to discover.
This particular new species, called Chikilidae, is unique because its closest relative resides in Africa; giving excellent credence to continental drift.
These bizarre amphibians, have some unusual eggs that the mother apparently guards for the duration of their gestation until they hatch.
A narrow-leaf campion flower has bloomed from a 32,000 year old seed found in the frozen soil of Siberia. An ice age squirrel buried this seed during the Pleistocene Era when woolly mammoths and rhinos roamed the icy Siberian land.
Scientists dug up stockpiles of seeds frozen in the soil for ages and coaxed this one to germinate and eventually bloom. Astoundingly, this flower's "parents" bloomed during the ice age.
A new exoplanet has been discovered 22 light years form Earth circling around a dim red-dwarf star. This super-Earth (GJ667Cc), 4X the size of our planet, rests in it's solar system's habitable zone where temperatures could be just right for the planet to hold liquid water.
GJ667Cc lies in a triple star system. If the planet is indeed rocky, like Earth, and has an atmosphere, perhaps the right conditions for life could be present.
A team of Japanese scientists have discovered well-preserved bone marrow from a mammoth thigh bone buried in Siberia's permafrost. This genetic material just might be enough to see a cloned baby mammoth walking around within five years.
The team intends to replace an elephant's DNA within the nuclei of their egg cells with this woolly mammoth DNA. They will then have a mammoth embryo that they can inject in an elephant mother to gestate and produce an offspring within a couple years time.
In a few decades we may even get to see a herd of woolly mammoths back on Earth.
NASA has confirmed a planet existing in the habitable zone of a solar system where liquid water could exist. This planet, Kepler 22-b, is about 2.4X the radius of Earth. It is unknown if the planet is rocky or gaseous, but it's still a great find.
So far, since February, the Kepler team has discovered over 2300 new worlds out in the cosmos. Many of these new planets are found to be Earth-like in size and quite a few have been found near the habitable zones of their solar systems. However, Kepler-22b is the first to be confirmed by NASA.

A very bizarre looking mummy corpse has been discovered down in Peru. The being has an unusual triangle-shaped head resembling that of a typical big-eyed large cranium alien.
What do you guys think? Could this be the remains of an alien grey or other species from out of this world, or is it just some bizarre human deformation or just a hoax?
